I have a Sony HVR-Z1U and I am considering purchasing the Sony HVR-DR60 hard disk recording unit to shoot directly in 24fps. Does anyone know anything about the conversion to FCP from this disk unit or is there a more FCP agreeable hard disk recorder? Thanks, Jason.

AJA Ki Pro is incredible because it records directly to the Apple ProRes codec. No conversions necessary, just transfer your data and start editing.

Thanks or the advice Walter, I looked into the AJA and it looks outstanding. Jason.
