    Hello there,
Working on a project, XDCAM EX 1080p24 and ProRes422.

We are on the middle of the cut so far, now anytime I open the project and open a clip the viewer turns to green, I heard audio but the video went complete solid green.

I get the “Error: out of memory” message and “Could not open handler. System memory is probably very low.”

I have tried already the usual protocol.
    Trash Preferences (Preference Manager)
    FCP Maintenance Pack
    Repair Disk permissions.
Restart the machine couple of times.
    Empty render files.

    Project file size: 80MB
    FCP version 6.0.6
    Quicktime 7.6.4
    Machine specs: OS X 10.5.8
    2×2.66 Quad-Core Xenon
    8GB Ram (Singles 1GB sticks)
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 120
    Fibre Channel SAN 6TB

    Any thoughts?

    THX!

Try quitting FCP and deleting the ‘Constant Frames’ folder.

I have tried everything possible to my understanding. If anyone has a possible solution to this is very much appreciated.
