Does anyone have any experience importing/exporting clips to premiere pro from Final cut pro.
What i need to do is have a friend send me small clips to create a title sequence then bake it and send it back so he can use it in premiere pro cs3.
He use a sony hdv camera and i think he captures from mpeg stream-clip.

At the moment an mpeg2 video clip goes straight on to his timeline but in fcp i have to render out, and i am not sure what he will see when he gets it back on the PPcs3 timeline.

If he has mpeg streamclip he should be fine. Even if CS3 can’t read the FCP codec streamclip will. Im not sure this is the best way to go about this but I have had success this way. The downside to it, I would think, is how much wrapping and re-wrapping of the video there is. I used it as a bridge between .avi & QT.

    Hope this helps a bit,
