FCP v4.0 and tiger
I still have fcp 4.0 and I wait for 5.0. In a couple of days I will buy a new mac – with tiger.
Does anybody know if FCP 4 will work with tiger or not?jan o

So far, so good. I loaded Tiger on Saturday and did some quick rough editing on a previous project, and everything appears to be the way it should. I’ll know a for sure this next week.

My Quicksilver 733 mhz Mac has been acting up recently and thought I should just upgrade to Tiger. I made an attempt last year by upgrade to Panther but the only application that crashed was FCP 3. Nothing worked in the attempt to fix the crashes so I had to go back to Jaguar. I was hoping Tiger could solve that problem. Has anyone with a Quicksilver Mac upgraded to Tiger and have FCP 3 work?
I have a new G5 system on order as well as the Final Cut Suite, but as there maybe a wait on the computer I thought I could fix the G4 until then and finish off some projects.
