Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy FCP Unreliable Regularly Crashing

    Have you run DiskWarrior as Rafael suggested. It has cleared FCP performance issues many times for me. Also, I assume youtrashed prefs and repaired permissions.

    Hi,

    Yer I tried DiskWarrior last time with no luck. I haven’t trashed Prefs yet this time, I’ll do that next, but I’m sure I would have done that last time as well.

    Just to add to the equation, I’ve now just switched over to work on a new MacPro model (Summer last year issue), running FCP 6.0.6 again and I’m getting the same problem so its not the installation or machine. Project file is still under 1.5mb so pretty small in the grand scheme of things.

    As I said before, it can’t be just coincidence that its only when I’m working with multicam clips as I haven’t had this on either machines on any projects I’ve worked on over the last year and this is the first time I’ve used the multicam feature since that last project.
