Not knowing exactly where to ask. My results in obtaining clear video in YouTube from my FCP 7 QT movies has been draining allot of energy recently. I encode 8bit Uncompressing and output to QT Mov file using the Sequence Settings for my QT output.. When i move the movie to DV, H264, Flash and mp4 and upload it, when laid back on YouTube it looks blurry and somewhat pixelated.

Am not sure what the secret is to obtain clear uploads, like the material appears before any upload in any of the formats. Does anyone have a magical equations for it to upload clearly? You can view a couple of examples at

to see what results am getting.

Thanks in Advance to Anybody Who Can Be a Magician

you say you have FCP7 that means you have FCS3. The easy way is to simply use the publish to youtube option in Compressor.

Also keep in mind that it takes you tube several days sometimes to post a quality version of your video. last time I posted something there it looked crappy for a few days then looked fine.

It looks good to me (is it the footage of a train, the link you supplied didn’t work, so I searched it), considering it’s only SD.

Maybe it was just what Zane said, it takes time for YouTube to finalise the upload and
to show up in full quality.
First time I was shocked to, then 15 min later, everything lookd fine.
