Sorry if this is answered elsewhere:

Can I export an EDL and quicktimes from FCP and have it be read by VegasPro?

I’m not sure which codecs are used with the Quicktime’s.

Is it easier to export an EDL to Vegas and re-digitize the footage?

If the PC cant read the Quicktime’s, can I transcode the Mac files to a PC friendly format that will be seamless?

    thanks

You can encode the Quicktime files to a PC friendly format using the re compress feature of Media Manager. Vegas and final cut speak different EDL language so you might trying to go from edl to excel to final cut.
