FCP to Digibeta layoff recommendations in L.A.?
Hi all,
It looks like our free resources have fallen through, so I’m looking for recommendations on where to go for an FCP (or QT) output to digibeta. We have a 7 minute short and need to make a pair of digibetas for a couple of festivals that haven’t jumped onto the hd bandwagon yet. The source movie is a Quicktime ProRes 1080p 29.97p, although I could deliver an h.264 version if needed.I have a Matrox MX02, but it looks like renting a deck for a day would be the more expensive option…

You might try going to Alpha Dogs in Burbank and using their Digital Service Station as an option. alphadogs.tv Give em’ a call, setup an appointment and bring a hard drive with your video as a self contained quicktime. They’re great.
