FCP to Compressor using Qmaster clusters **problems**
I’ve got the latest version of FC pro suite on my mac intel 4core. I’m trying to utilize Qmaster. When I export out of FCP into compressor (compressing for a SD DVD) and select the cluster I want that I set up in Qmaster it won’t compress. An error message comes up saying it unexpectedly quit. Now, when I take a .MOV that i’ve rendered out of FCP and dump it in Compressor it will utilize the cluster I set up in Qmaster and it renders fine.
Anybody no why I’m having problems with Qmaster?

If you want to use QMaster feature you cannot (at least I have never been able to) export the timeline from FCP, instead make a ref movie and bring that into Compressor. SInce it is speed you are after this will be the most effective in giving you this.
