FCP to Color Workflow – Reconnect native R3D-files from offline without using L&T?
Hello,
I’m trying to get my Online grading workflow to work.
Problem: When I try to use Log and Transfer to re-import RED-clips as native files, FCP freezes. I copied the R3D-files to a folder on my local disk and pointed L&T to that folder then FCP stops responding. I tried to use Log and Transfer on with the R3D-files on two diffrent computers with diffrent versions of OS X and Final Cut Pro with the same problem.
Question: Is there another way to reconnect the R3D-files before sending the FCP project to Color?
When I try to connect to the R3D.mov files I need to do one by one and the size gets all wrong in color, and that makes sense when the wrapper got 4K and the filename is diffrent.Offline edit in Final Cut Pro
1. Shoot on RED 4K 16:9
2. Import R3D in Redcine-X
3. Quick CC
