I’m using an older version of Final Cut Pro / Studio for my work. Version 6.0.6

My original files are the .mov files produced by a JVC GY-HM100 HD (35mbps XDCamEX).

My goal is to create MP4 video clips 3-5 minutes long in two resolutions. 1920×1080 and 1280×720 for download and playback from local drive, and a third size for streaming.

I’m here looking for workflow & codec advice. As I look in compressor I don’t see lots of options for MP4/h.264. Practical bitrates, other options for leaving the timeline and ending up at mp4 (h.264 flavor), etc?

Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated.
