  • FCP thinks clips are duplicates, but they’re not

I have 2 clips in a sequence both shot on a Sony A6000. The issue is the timecode for each starts at 00:00:00;00. They have the same reel name, different clip names, but FCP thinks they’re duplicates. How can I tell it they’re not, so it won’t see them as dupes, but will see other duplicates in the timeline?

    same reel, same TC?
FCP will see those as dupes

simple solution is to give them unique reel#s
