    Hello Forum

Is it somehow possible to mix regular / bold and italic versions of the same font within the same text field?

I have so far always added another text layer with just the italic or bold words on top of it and left space in the bottom text layer for the bold and italic words…

Now with FCP7 is this possible? Or are there any plugins for purchase available that allow us to do this?

I am in need for this because I need to subtitle a 20 minute film with a lot of italic and bold text… it would be a huge timesaver…

Thank you for any leads or advice.

Yes, use the Boris 3D titler. You have complete control over your text. The basic text tool is really best used as a placeholder for later replacement.
