FCP text generator bugs
Does anybody else have problems with “Text” and “lower 3rd” generators? I have tried to add quick titles to some characters in my doc but I cannot change the font from Lucida Grande and when I render it out it has a bizzare green outline/shadow. I’m running FCP 5 fully updated on a dual 2.5 G5 with Blackmagic Extreme card.

Are you selecting the all the text in your window before trying to change the font name?

I have tried changing fonts before and after text has been entered. In the lower 3rd I can change the font for the upper line but not the lower line. The green outline occurs when I add a drop shadow in the motion tab.
