FCP Studio Pro to FCPX
My old Mac Pro will not run FCPX (not upgradable pre 2007) so Im still editing in FCSP. I now have a new Mac Pro with FCPX.
How can I get old FCSP projects into FCPX on the new Mac?
I know there is 7toX software, but I think you need both FCP programs running on the same mac not two separate macs. Im all for networking if needed.
Anyone have answer to my FCP to FCPX.
I have big project started in FCSP that I would like to finish in FCPX to expedite the rendering process by days.THNXS!

FCP 7 doesn’t need to be on the same system. All that you do is export an XML from FCP 7…and bring that, and the drive with the media, to the FCX system, and use Xto7 to convert that XML into a FCX project.
