I want a filter like on the MTV show “Sweet Sixteen” with all the starts around the edges.
Also does anyone know how to isolate a color in FCP. I’ve done it before but cant’ remember.

    Hi,
i can not help you about the MTV filter, but about to select a colour from an image, you can do it with the two Colour Correction filters of FC, with the “Limit Effect” . There is a good toutorial by Andrew Balis in Ken Stone’s web site. Read about “Secondary color Correction”.
    Salud,

You mean stars all around the edges? I think what you are looking at is a GenArts filter. BCC may have something similar.

Yep, looks a lot like Sapphire S_Sparkles to me (with some masking to make them go where you want.)
