    Hi:

Some REALLY basic questions here, what is the difference btw. 4:3 and 3:2 ratios with sequence/capture settings?

And right now, my playback settings are set to: video-none, audio-default. I’m working with a MacBook Pro with no external monitor. Should this be different than what it’s set to? If I bring in an external monitor, what should I adjust my settings to?

Also, has anyone heard of FCP 6.0 being buggy in any way? I recently wrote about capture now sync issues. Unfortunately, I think its coming down to having a buggy camera, but there has been some overall weirdness with 6.0 that I did not experience with 5.0–FCP freezing up, shutting down unexpectedly, etc.

I’m also working with a LaCie 250 GB ext. harddrive. Its formatted correctly, has the right 800 FW connection and has lots of space–regardless, could this contribute to the problems in FCP?

    Thanks!

    Nicolle
