A strange thing happened today when our editor tried to duplicate a sequence…it wouldn’t do it!!

Anyone run across this problem before? It will duplicate other sequences, but not this one particular one.

    Thanks

Never seen that. Copy/Paste the clips into a new sequence the duplicate.

What’s he doing to duplicate? Option-D or Option drag to another location should duplicate the sequence.

    All the best,

Just for grins, try another way to duplicate. if your using your keyboard, (option D) try using your control click menu (or right click menu). After I upgraded to FCP 7 and Snow Leopard, If I tried to import a clip by using “command I” it would not import. But if I right clicked and then used the menu presented, it would import. Subsequent software upgrades have taken care of that problem.
