  FCP Send To Compressor Error

  I’m sure this has been covered in a thread before, but after much searching I haven’t seen this exact situation described. When I send a sequence to a quickcluster on a mac pro 2.66×8 running 10.5.7, I get an error on 1 or 2 of the render threads. I have experienced some batch monitor/FCP crashes, but not consistently. Is this “normal”? Is the reference movie method my only option for now? Does compressor 3.5/FCP 7 fix this?
