Anyone know how to save a custom effect I created in FCP using a filter or two and then adding keyframes? I applied this effect to a clip and want to apply it to 3 more in my timeline but dont want to have to apply the two filters again and try to set the exact keyframes. Any way to save it as almost like a preset?
Also on the wondertouch site it only says PI 3.0 , but in the acticle on the cow it says its 3.0.1 because of the new upgrades.

Select your clip, hit copy (apple-c). select the other two clips and hit paste special (apple-v) and select filters. There’s a tickbox on the top the allows you to scale the attribute times (keyframes) so they scale over the length of the clip. This is the only way to copy keyframes. You can save those filters together as a favorite, but it won’t preserve the keyframes.

To save as a favorite, load the clip in the viewer, select the filters tab, make sure NONE of the filters are selected, go to the modify menu and select make favorite. This filter pack will now show up in your favorites folder in the effects bin of your browser. apply to as many clips as you want.

You can also make a favorite motion filter if you need to do a series of repetitive motions, but this sonly applies to keyframes in the motion tab, not effects filters.

The manual explains all of this.
