    FCP Rescue 5

    Has anyone had any trouble running FCP Rescue 5? I’m at UT Austin and for some reason it doesn’t do anything on these machines, which are running 10.3.9. It’s just an AppleScript, isn’t it? There are other oddities on these machines as well, like a System Preference tool called PinPoint doesn’t run. FullScreenEditor, which is also AppleScript based I believe, doesn’t run properly either. Anybody have an idea why these simple utilities might not function?

    I believe FCP Rescue 5 is scripted for Tiger… could be wrong. I’m not familiar with the other scripts.

    Tom,

    I saw apost the other day where the guy who wrote it stipulated that FCP Rescue 5 was for FCP5 and Tiger exclusively, not 10.3.9
