  FCP renders glitch in Motion titles??

  Has anyone had difficulty with titles created in Motion 2.1, importing them into FCP 5.1.1, and getting a field dropout/flash-frame in the title (specifically in HDV timelines)? I’ve had three pop up in a large project, amongst two dozen other titles that imported and rendered out fine.

  Or, has anyone had title glitches when they don’t set their HDV settings to Upper Field First? Reason – I kinda fixed the glitches (not sure why) after importing a QuickTime export of the show into Motion 2.0, checked the Media Inspector properties, and set the field dominance from “none” to “upper.” Suddenly, the glitches disappeared inside Motion 2.0.

  I know, we shouldn’t be doing projects in HDV anyway, but I didn’t have a choice this round.
