  FCP Ram?

  got mac pro dual core.. 1 gig ram.. thinking to upgrade.. there are two deals.. 4 gigs for 200 bucks or 8 for 380.. 8 gigs sounds better but do i really need all that much ram.. i plan on editing HDV format… have final cut pro 5 studio
