FCP Question
Hey i know this is a very basic question but does anyone know how grab a still off FCP 3 and save it as a JPEG? Cheers,

Park the playhead on the image you want. Mark IN, Mark OUT, go to FILE>EXPORT>QUICKTIME CONVERSION and in the dialogue box click on MOVIE TO QUICKTIME MOVIE and select MOVIE TO STILL IMAGE.
Then you’ll have to take it into Photoshop, or some other still image editing app, and de-interlace it.

How about making it a freeze frame in FCP and adding a de-interlace filter before exporting it?
