FCP QT export looks streched
This is not a huge problem just more annoying then anything. If I export a QT mov at 720×480, the QT it self looks streched on the horz but if i make a dvd with that same file or run it out to a monitor everything is fine.
So any one got ideas?thanks

I know you don’t want to hear this, but it’s supposed to be that way. Standard Def TVs don’t display square pixels, they display rectangular pixels. When you export a QT & look at it on your computer, it’s displaying square pixels, but when you make a DVD & play it on your computer or TV, you’re looking at rectangular pixels.
BTW, if you look up “Pixel Aspect Ratio” in the manual, you’ll find a more detailed explanation.
