FCP prompts me to Register but is greyed out?
I recently installed FCP 5 on a G4 with Tiger.
Every 5 or so times now that I open FCP I’m prompted to register (again, I’m pretty sure I did first time I launched the Ap) but the “register” button itself is greyed out. I don’t mind registering, I’d do it in a second if I could. I’m concerned that in 30 days or something I’m not going to be able to open the Ap while in the middle of a project.
Is there anyway to force register or trash a preference for that not to happen?

Try deleting your Final Cut Pro user ID file and re-serializing.
Computer > Library > Application Support > ProApps > Final Cut Pro System ID
Might have to delete “Final Cut Studio System ID” too, if that doesn’t do the trick.

Did you enter an email address? From memory I think you have to enter an email else the registration can’t be submitted.
