Hi all. I can’t ingest into FCP v6 P2 footage that was shot on the HPX300 with DVC Pro HD 60P codec at 720p VFR on at 30fps or 24fps. I get an exclamation point for any footage shot at variable frame rates like 30 or 24.

I have NO problem ingesting 720p 60p footage that is shot WITHOUT VFR. I also have NO problem ingesting footage shot at 24PN or 30PN, even with VFR on.

I am using a Kona LH card with the latest v7.1 drivers, Mac OS 10.5.8, and Quicktime 7.6.4. A solution would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all.

WHy are you using a Kona card instead of importing the footage via LOG AND TRANSFER?

Actually, I am using Log and Transfer. I just listed the Kona card as added information. I can ingest all other formats except this.

in the P2 Import window…in the P2 Browser, there is a little sprocket drop down menu. Click on that and choose PREFERENCES. Uncheck REMOVE PULLDOWN and then try importing again.
