Hi! I’ve got lots of interview footage to organize for a project. Generally the way I work as I have a transcript done of the interviews, then, in FCP, digitize my tapes in their entirety, create subclips of each interview from the master clip of the whole tape, then set markers for each question asked during the interview. This has proved very effective to get a handle on hours of interviews very quickly with minimum logging time.

I’m encountering two issues in trying to set things up the same way in Premiere.

The first is that it only appears that one can annotate markers in a sequence. Is that right? Strange that you can’t do this in a clip. Seems only like you can assign a number and that’s it.

If this is right what I’m thinking of doing is creating sequences of each indivicual interview. I can then add annotated markers. I would have a separate sequence then, for each of my interviews.

However, I’m also not seeing a way to print out a marker name, associated comment, and time code number. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks!!!
