    FCP- Outputting to tape!!

    Hi,

    Having simple difficulty outputting a sequence to tape.
    I am using firewire to connect my Sony HVR-V1U and my FCP, which is version 6.0.1 on a intel-based macbook pro. I have no problems capturing, however once layed to tape the picture is cropped on both sides, hence creating a 4×3 movie. My settings in camera are set to DV out-16×9.

    I assume it’s a camera setting, please let me know if anyone has a solution for this!!

    You need to set your timeline to Anamorphic.
