    Hey guys,

I’m just having a problem trying to match P2 camera footage to .mts camera footage so I can make a multiclip. I understand that all the settings must be matched up in order for this to happen, but when I use the log + capture function, it brings them in with settings that I can’t figure out how to change. I only need to know how to change the footage from DVCPRO to AppleProRes so I can make the multiclip. I look forward to hearing back from someone, thanks for taking the time to look at this post.

You will have to take the footage into Compressor, or use the media manager to convert the DVCPRO HD footage to ProRes…the same ProRes settings as the MTS footage.

Thanks, Shane, I appreciate your response. I thought compressor was the answer, but now I have to do troubleshooting and fork out $50.00 to get that application because it says that compressor doesn’t work with the OS I have.

    All the best!

Or use the Media Manager inside FCP. Test on one clip…
