After importing a photoshop multilayered file, i then added some simple scale and opacity motion to one layer in the nest and then put the photoshop nest on the main sequence timeline.

I seem to get an interlace flicker when rendered, ive tried both lower and upper dominance, and none in the seq settings but no luck.

Is this a known problem ?

its ok ive solved it if anyone is interested, when a photoshop file, or graphics comp is added to fcp it puts a field ofset filter into the clip for no reason?

i right clicked on the clip (so it doesnt auto open the gfx seq) and listed the filters and cut out the shift field filter then it works a treat.

    Hi Ian,
What you should do is to check the .psd file as NONE in the FC Browser. You will avoid this kind of field-order problems. Stills shouldn’t have fields unless they cam from an interlaced Still Sequence.
    Cheers,
    Rafael
