I have 2.7TB HDV to ProRes footage digitized and need to make ProRes Proxies so I can travel & off-line edit plus a duplicate set for my assistant editor. I know this will take considerable time on my desk top system using MM. Should I use compressor, any faster, draw backs?

Compressor using Qmaster is faster, no real downsides… MM produces a nice connected project file though.
