FCP Marker Error When Sub-Clipping
Hi All,
I have a problem with an established workflow which has occurred for the first time this week.
I am working on a 22′ live action/animation comedy show. The master sequence has a marker at the beginning of each new scene. We then subclip these scenes from that timeline so we can send backplates to Lipsync & the Animators.
Previously the markers would copy across fine, but on this particular sequence the subclipped scene brings in other markers from later in the master sequence and drops them randomly on the subclipped scene’s timeline. They usually are from other scenes that occur later in the show! Never earlier in the show.
Sequence is ProRes (HQ) Interlaced (Upper) PAL CCIR601 5:4 Anamorphic 24Bit Audio for Online Output.
ah, now my colleague next door has the same problem. Its an odd little bug which I have only seen since updating to the latest FCP update!
I’m a little perplexed.
thanks
Scott
