    I am going to do a quick turn around shoot,edit,upload job
    on a 7 day adventure race.
    the company I am working for is trying to save a bit of money.
    will FCP perform well on a macbook Vs macbook pro
    I have heard good things but need to know
    I don’t need amazing I just cant have super slow

    What format? A Macbook limits you to firewire 400, so you can only work with and capture DV quality codecs. Other than that, most of it should run well enough.

    for fast turnaround you want the fastest computer you can get. Get at least the 15″ MacBook Pro. especially for rendering it has the better graphics card and faster processors.
