We have students shooting interviews with Sony Handycams at 1080i. If they try to import a clip longer than 5:00 or so, log and transfer gives an error message, and will not transfer the clip. The work around is to set ins and outs and import pieces, but I know there has to be an easier way. Looked in forums and haven’t seen this exact question. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

How are the scratch drives formatted? How are you importing?
