I am running FCP 6.0.6, trying to import footage from two Sony NXCAM from church by saving the footage on hard drive from SD card out of camera. The footage was recorded in format 720x60p FX, and 480x60I HQ, not exactly sure what that means. My problem is when I have the footage in FCP any movement has terrible interlacing in FCP, and just as bad after rendering. I rendered through Compressor with the interlacing check on.

Aside from that I need to know how to use my Sony Z1U footage with the NXCAM in FCP, I assume I set the formats to the same on both cameras. Import with the respective formats selected in easy setup, then change easy setup to do the next camera? then the final outcome should be ok?
