Howdy neighbors, what a great resource for a novice like me. I have small problem I could use some help with, I’m in the process of learning FCP7 shortcuts and somehow I activated a filter of some kind, best described as a green circle with a check mark, as well as diagonal green stripe in the bright highlights of the sample footage I’m using in the viewer window. Anyone have a suggestion as to getting out of this?
Thanks in advance for any consideration!

    Hi Paul,

    Welcome to Creative COW.

You’ve activated range check for chroma and luma. This tells you if your picture is too bright in certain areas and/or if certain colours are too saturated. To turn this off go to:

    View>Range Check>Off
