I’m about to purchase a FCP system. I’m looking at my options for storing media. I’ll probably be acquiring in HDV but I want to plan for storage that will accommodate a less compressed form of HD. I’ve looked at MEdea and LeCie. What are the considerations and what do I need to watch out for.

I’m also concerned that I get the right host adaptor for whatever media storage device I choose. So if anyone can address both those issues it would be great!

    Thanks in advance

Try ProMax. They have a SATA option that has the capabilities of doing full HD video. I have the 2 TB setup. It comes with the SATA adapter and cables needed.
