FCP HDV cannot print to tape
I am trying to output a HDV master via firewire to the SONY M10U deck. The recording seems to work fine for about 3 minutes then it starts choking. It happens each time at a movie clip that was created in After Effects from a still image.
Has anyone had problems outputting a Final Cut Pro 5 HDV show on the M10U? Is there something I’m missing on the deck setup? I’ve got this gorgeous footage that needs to end up on a DVD master by Friday and I can’t output to tape. I’ve also tried exporting the show digitally to a 16×9 SD movie for use on the DVD master in DVD Studio Pro, but any attempt to output digitally seems to have “jaggie” artifacts. Bewildered….please help! Thanks.
