Thanks David, but is there any way to lessen the long render time on the new sequence?

HDV is processor intensive. The only things that help are a faster computer or capturing to a less processor intensive codec such as ProRes.

Hi — sometimes I find that exporting a standalone movie from the timeline and re-importing can do an end-around the HDV render blues…there are other issues of course but for graphics and AE renders it really speeds things along.
