  FCP grid animation?

  Hi,

  I need to create a grid of 16 people all talking at the same time but then the screen animates into one of the grid sections, that person talks then we animate back to the grid. What is the best way to do this??

  Seem like it would be hard and ime consuming to animate every grid square in FCP and make it look smooth or good. I sent the clips to motion from FCP as I thought I would do it there but it locked the audio in to a flat bed meaning I could move images around but could never keep audio sync.

  Im on a day deadline and really need some inspiration on this one.

  Any help welcome.
