  FCP Feature Film Workflow

  We are now in our second week of a 3-week shoot for a new feature film, Fissure. It’s being shot with a Varicam, at 720p 24fps (DVCProHD).

  I will be using FCP for the offline (and maybe online) edit.

  Can someone share their experience in cutting a feature in FCP? Things to watch for. Things to avoid. Things to make sure I do.

  For example, do you edit the entire film as one sequence, or do you edit each scene as their own sequence? Why or why not?
