.fcp extension not hiding
I have two computers and two external HDDs, one for each computer. One has hide extensions (set in FCP) and one has it turned off so it shows extensions (unticked). Both HDDs had the same name but i changed them while having them both behind the same computer and now it ignores the original settings even if I each time tick the “hide extensions” box.
I also went into finder->preferences to check maybe it’s on there but it isn’t. Only way to get them off is to right click on file-> get info -> hide extensions :/ but as soon as i make changes to that file it makes the .fcp re-appear. Anyone have idea why or how to get rid of that problem?
