FCP Express reading basic 5.0 projects
If I install the newest FCP Express on a dual core macbook, can I read
and work with low res media from fcp 5, and then export back to 5.0
just for simple one video track Off Line editingthanks

No. FCE only supports DV and HDV…

The letter of the license for FCP is that you can install it on one laptop and one tower… you just can’t use it on both at the same time….

So it looks like FCP CrossGrade time.
I am hearing conflicting info on ruinning 5.1 on a macbook.
When I tried to install 4.5 it said it wo9uldn’t install because
of no agpGraphcis card.Will the crossgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 allow 5.1 to install and
run on the macbook. It has 2gig of ram.j
