    I have produced a video in FCP and I am stuck on the issue of exporting. When I use compressor, my video comes out grainy on my DVD and the raw footage that was captured Firewire 800 from the mini DV tape looks awesome.

    I am confused about rates and things like that, so does anyone have a workflow that they use to get a GREAT looking DVD without an encoded grain to it??

    What settings are you using in compressor?

    The settings that are used are

    MPEG-2 6.2 mbps 2 pass
    Dolby Digital Professional 2.0
