when we export uncompressed quicktime from FCP timeline FCP5
    we can either:

1.- exporting qt movie, uncompressed 8 bit NTSC 48k

    vs

2.- export using qt conversion, video quality best @ 29.97

then when we place these files in a FCP4 timeline, SOMETIMES #2 chokes in FCP…

    anyone come across this?

If you’re allowing FCP to export using the Animation codec, this is to be expected. That’s a much larger file than allowing FCP to export using the Uncompressed codec.
