FCP Export on current settings looks terrible compared to original
Hi everyone,
Editing a video using HDV1080i50 and exporting from FCP to quicktime movie (current settings).
Colors look desaturated and lack depth of view in canvas quite significantly when playing back in quicktime (10 and 7 with FCP color pref and high quality checked) but looks the same when played back in MpegStreamclip. I’ve heard this is a gamma issue but was not explained further or with any solutions found.
Really need to resolve issue as would like to playback clips through quicktime.
Any ideas? Would be much appreciated

How does it look through your capture/playback card?

Running OSX 10.6.6.
Unfortunately don’t have a playback or capture card as work on quite a budget setup.
