FCP error 8060
Hi,
so I was being busy working and doing editing and at one point i realized i was using copies to edit and not the original files so I deleted the copy and opened all of those FCP files, all of them gave that “file is offline” notice so i located and linked them to the original ones and saved and closed them again. If i wanted to open them again they gave me error 8060 and possibility to cancel/fix alias/delete alias. Delete didn’t work and fixing took me to Application folder to choose an app to open it with and FCP did not open.
Now it all works but i have no clue why, maybe me rage quitting FCP few times did something, maybe not. But I still would like to know why it happened and what would be the solution if they wouldn’t start working just in case I get stuck again in the future and just for the knowledge of it. So if anyone knows and can answer thanks you.
