Fcp effect minimize video to a corner
Hi. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with this little bit of editing.
Does anyone know a way to have say a clip of a video start playing and then have that minimize to a corner while another clip begins to play in the background? I’m kinda looking to make a director’s commentary effect that starts with a look at the director and then shifts the focus to the actual footage.

This is very easy.
Put the track you’re going to shrink back/down on Track V2.
Put track to be revealed on Track V1.Double click V2 vid and set keyframe for position and scale, move cursor
down 20 frames or 40 or whatever time you want the shrink to happen.Scale down and position vid. This will create new keyframes for you auto.
I would suggest you read thru the manual as this is very basic stuff.
