  FCP editing with Omneon

  Hi all,
  I was wondering if anyone has experience editing on the FCP with Omneon, editing in place using reference files? At our facility we edit very long shows, could be up to 12-13 hrs of clips, we are recording these clips on the omneon as IMX 30 and are just marking ins and out on the clips and then exporting the clips as ref files back to the omneon where the essence resides. Exporting these files out of the FCP sequence back to the Omneon can take up to an hour or over. We need to expedite this export process?
  Anyone have any suggestions?
